What to expect when visiting with young children seven years and under ....

HoneyBee Lane Bees is a genuine working apiary. You may see beekeeping equipment, electric fencing, farm animals and working areas that are not part of the visitor experience.

We understand that children sometimes become tired, excited or overwhelmed.   If a child needs a break, we'll do our best to accommodate them. However, if safety instructions cannot be followed, we may pause, modify or discontinue the visit. This is rarely necessary, but it helps protect everyone and our animals and bees.

Please help us by supervising your child at all times.  Visits that include children 7 and under must be made by special arrangement.

Our Young Explorers Tour

A private 35-minute introduction to the fascinating world of honey bees, specially designed for children under 7 years of age.

For the safety of both our visitors and our bees, each child must be accompanied by a dedicated parent or guardian throughout the tour.

The 35-minute format has been thoughtfully designed to match the attention span and interests of younger children, allowing them to enjoy a relaxed and engaging introduction to the amazing world of honey bees.

Following the tour, families are welcome to visit our friendly farm animals and explore the farm at their leisure.

To help keep everyone safe, we ask that children:

• Remain with their parent or guardian at all times.
• Follow simple safety instructions.
• Respect the honey bees, livestock and other visitors.
• Avoid climbing on fences, gates, equipment or farm structures.
• Stay within the designated visitor areas unless invited elsewhere by your guide.
